An Hour of Code brings block programming to campus

Date : 07.12.18

During the Computer Science Week (December 2 - 9) DYP students of classes 6 to 8 had the opportunity to participate in an “Hour of Code” coordinated by Mr Anand Khambete, from the IT company Accenture. They used block programming to make a robot move its arms and designed a “dance party” with a variety of dancers, moves, and music!

The activities engaged in, as well as many more, can still be accessed by anyone wishing to practise further, or learn a little more. The link code.org is available year-round, with a focus on new tutorials being released around Computer Science Week each year.
