Science is Wonderful!

Date : 26.09.19

Students of grades 8 to 10 recently visited a science event organised by the European Commission in Brussels. ‘Science is Wonderful!’ showcased how science impacts our daily lives through hands-on experiments, live demonstrations and face-to-face chats with researchers.

Some of our students were fascinated by nanoscience and by the latest progresses of facial recognition, now capable of detecting our emotions: "Scientists are trying to figure out how much information can go into something so small."

"Additionally, I also really liked the stall where they could detect our emotions. You basically look at a camera and it sees how happy, sad, angry or bored you are!"
